Smoothies, The Perfect Way to Eat More Fruits and Veggies!

Channon Adams

Sometimes getting enough fruits and veggies into my diet was hard. I was either too busy to sit down and actually have time to eat a salad or I would just forget. Making sure everyone was eating a balanced diet with each meal including snack was stressful in the beginning. After eating clean for almost 3 years, I have managed to get in a good routine and have found that smoothies are the best way to add and get all those fruits and veggies into your daily diet. Especially if you have kids, do you know how many veggies I will hide inside (that they normally wont eat) they never have a clue! Its a win, win for all of us, are you a smoothie fan?

For me I love using frozen fruit, this way I don't have to add ice or worry about pealing, cutting or coring the fruit. Clean eating is all about convenience, without convenience it makes eating clean become a chore usually resulting in falling back into bad eating habits. That is what would happen to me in the beginning, since then I have learned what works for me allowing me to succeed! The only frozen veggie I would recommend is avocado, other frozen vegetable do not taste good:)
